ISCTE- IUL will create a governing board to manage and govern the MPP – Innovation and Entrepreneurship Initiative Venture Competition (the "Governing Board"). While all strategic decisions are the responsibility of the Governing Board, the regular activities and administration of MPP – Innovation and Entrepreneurship Initiative will be supervised by a directorate formed by two ISCTE- IUL and an INDEG representative.

The administration and accounting of MPP – Innovation and Entrepreneurship Initiative will be carried out by AUDAX, the associated center of ISCTE- IUL in charge of entrepreneurship.

The Governing Board and its Committees will be established solely to facilitate the relationship and communications among the Portuguese Universities and industrial participants and will not oversee or manage the conduct of MIT entities in the initiative.

The membership of the Governing Board will include 6 representatives from:

i) ISCTE-IUL member, appointed as Chairman of the Directorate;
ii) ISCTE-IUL member, appointed as Program Director (executive);
iii) MIT-Portugal member, in charge for the overall program (non-executive);
iii) A representative from the Engineering / Science schools (non-executive);
iv) A further 2 non-executive members, one from MIT and one Industrial representative.
